Samantha Conrad MD, FAAD


Dr. Samantha Conrad is an acclaimed, board-certified dermatologist who specializes in cosmetic procedures and skin cancer detection and prevention. Much of her work focuses on the global and cohesive rejuvenation of the face, a method which involves restoring and replacing what is gradually lost through the aging process. This technique marries the science and the art of medicine, thus creating natural results and utilizing multiple therapies with a focus on preventative balancing. Dr. Conrad is highly experienced in a wide range of cosmetic procedures including lasers, neuromodulators, and fillers. Due to this extensive experience and expertise, Dr. Conrad is frequently quoted and interviewed in media and news outlets. She serves as a consultant and trainer for leading esthetic industry giants, and conducts expert reviews in medico-legal cases. She is highly recommended by her patients and other physicians, not only for her clinical skills, but also her attentive, caring, and warm disposition. 

Dr. Conrad is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Medicine. Her post-graduate training in Internal Medicine at Northwestern University was followed by a residency in Dermatology at the University of Chicago. She is a Fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology. Before co-founding Conrad Petersen Dermatology, she served as Clinical Director at Northwestern University/Northwestern Medical Group.

Erin Petersen MD, FAAD


Dr. Erin Petersen co-founded Conrad Petersen Dermatology in February 2020. Dr. Petersen is a board-certified dermatologist who practices general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She specializes in dermatoscopic detection of skin cancer, surgical and non-surgical skin cancer removal, hair loss, acne, rosacea and cosmetic botox and lasers. She has expertise in complex medical dermatology and advanced systemic therapies. Patients appreciate and seek out Dr. Petersen for her thoroughness, her patient-focused and individualized care plans, and her kind, compassionate nature. She is highly valued by her physician colleagues for her engagement in and dedication to team-based patient care.

Dr. Petersen grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and attended Santa Clara University for her undergraduate studies where she graduated with distinction. She continued on at University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine where she earned her medical degree and was inducted into the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. She spent her internship at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn and completed Dermatology Residency at Saint Louis University. Dr. Petersen is currently a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and member of the Dermatology Foundation. 

Lauren Agostinacchio MS, PA-C


Lauren is a board-certified Physician Assistant and is licensed by the state of Illinois to practice and prescribe medicine. She began her career in hematology/oncology, but having experience in dermatology prior to PA school, she knew her passion was evaluating and treating skin

conditions. She joined the Conrad Petersen Dermatology team with interests in skin cancer detection, rosacea, acne, infectious etiologies, and cosmetic dermatology. Lauren has a focus in procedural and medical dermatology and performs comprehensive dermatologic exams of all age ranges. Beyond delivering high quality patient care and education, she values the patient-provider relationship in customizing a treatment plan for her patients.

She was raised in Wisconsin and received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. There she competed on the Women’s Rowing team as a four-time letter winner and Academic All-Big Ten recipient. She completed her Masters of Science in Physician

Assistant Studies from Rush University and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (ISDPA), and Diversity in Dermatology.
